IMPROVING MOVEMENT & MOBILITY through NEUROSCIENCE

 I have set up the requested day and time (Tuesdays at 1p.m.) Here are the dates of my class called Improving Movement & Mobility: 

 

 All activities in the class will be from Brain & Neuroplasticity-based research.

     Our brain is the engine of our body’s performance vehicle. Using brain and nervous system based movements, exercise and techniques we can help our bodies by increasing range of motion (ROM), improving quality of movement, decreasing pain and increasing movement ease and speed. 

     If you would like to improve the quality of your movement and mobility in any activity that you enjoy, this is a class for you.

     This class will teach you mobility movements based on brain and neural plasticity research that will help you determine your specific brain and body needs for better movement and will give you high speed results. It is based on Z-Health. 

     Whether you need rehabilitation, pain relief or performance enhancement, movement & exercise should NOT be painful or stressful. You CAN move better! 

     This class will not be strenuous or complex. We will begin with learning six high payoff moves to determine which are the ones that your brain and body respond to.   Participants should wear comfortable clothing and socks.

AEROBICS

This class includes a Warm Up, Dancing and/or Moving to Latin/Zumba music & 

Rock & Roll music, Monitoring the Heart Rate during class activities and a Cool Down.

  • We will begin slowly to add happy, easy movement to your day, regardless of your age & fitness level.

  • If you like music & you are interested in adding movement to your life, you will enjoy this class! 

  • The class will not be strenuous & does not require previous experience in dance.

  • Movements can be easily modified to meet your needs:

  • If you want to move very slowly, you can!  

  • If you want to move vigorously, you can!

Aerobic Exercise includes dancing, running, walking, swimming, movement, etc. and increases our heart rate, which pumps more blood to the brain. This increased blood to the brain delivers oxygen to the brain and “the brain is the biggest consumer of oxygen in the body”( Okonkwo).

Workshop Dates:  Some Aerobic movements will be included in the Improving Movement & Mobility classes.

AGELESS GRACE Brain Health Class

This class is done while seated and is available for individual(s) or small group (at any location) by contacting

Workshop Dates:  Some Ageless Grace movements may be included in the Improving Movement & Mobility classes.
